Introducing Article One's first all-purpose active frame, Park.
AO ACTIVE frames are made in Italy with TR90 polymer plastic, an incredibly durable, lightweight and hypoallergenic material made to hold it’s shape, even in the highest temperatures. Tonal silicone nose pads are made to grip and hold – with a wire core skeleton athletes can squeeze tight during a workout, and let loose afterward. Silicone pads wrap around the ear for additional comfort and grip. The frames include Divel, Italian-made, Nylon Polarized lenses that block 100% of UVA/UVB rays and prevent road glare, plus the back side has an extra anti-reflective coating to counteract any reflection coming from the eye. Spring hinges allow for give and bounce back in case of rough wear.
AO x Cafe du Cycliste
Article One and Cafe du Cycliste teamed up to design a performance cycling frame inspired by the French outfitter’s ability to honor classic design while elevating technical capabilities. A nod to vintage cycling goggles, the frame combines the benefits of a performance shield with the style of a classic sunglass appropriate for the south of France.
Though rooted in cycling, the frame has all the technical components needed for all-purpose active wear.
AO x Tracksmith
Article One x Tracksmith Running’s Charles frame is a vintage-inspired technical running frame that transcends the track for all-purpose wear. Included on Runners World 2018 ‘Gear of the Year’ list, the magazine calls the collaboration “high fashion meets high speed” and Outside Magazine vouches for their “secure, fogless fit and durability runners need.” Esquire tapped The Charles as part of ‘The coolest stuff in menswear right now’ and Gear Patrol points to the perfect marriage of “performance and aesthetics.”
